Box Cars and One-Eyed Jacks Math Games for the Classroom
Grades 3-5




Are you a teacher looking for ways to challenge, motivate, and engage your math students? In this interactive, hands on math games workshop, participants will learn how to use and easily implement games as a teaching strategy. Particpants will also learn why this powerful strategy works. The handout and game ideas will focus on critical areas of the TEKS and provide fun and low stress ways to work on fluency with students. Come prepared to play and learn all kinds of games, strategies, and tips that appeal to all learning styles and will compliment any math program. Student samples, journal masters, and reproducible gameboards will be provided. Get your math program rolling with this great workshop. Correlation of games and strategies to state math standards provided.
