Models, Manipulatives, and Make & Takes. Have you ever looked through your math closet and said, "What are these for?" Have you ever looked at a model and asked, "How do I incorporate this into my lessons?" We want to add experiences with models and manipulatives to "Make & Take" immediately to your classroom.
Do not miss the opportunity to be part of an innovative Blended Learning PD at Region 12. This exciting adventure begins on December 5th with 4 hours of face to face professional development from 9am-2pm with our traditional 1 ½ hour lunch. In our face-to-face meeting, we will come together in grades 3-5 to experience specific high yield models and manipulatives and use the centers/stations model to create invaluable resources for immediate implementation. Come to one or to all the sessions in the series to build content knowledge and to create a toolbox of Manipulatives, Models, and Make & Takes!
