The phenomenon of Human Trafficking is only beginning to enter conversations in education. However, regardless of the community or school size, demographic or any other identifiable factor, Human Trafficking can occur anywhere. Though a difficult topic for many to breech, educators are called to learn of the dangers of this devastating phenomenon in an ethical and legal obligation to keep students safe. Participants in this session, regardless of position, will learn of the signs and symptoms of Human Trafficking, as well as preventative and intervention best practices to protect children
