High School Counselor Summer Fly-in
MCC and TSTC Summer Counselor Academy




McLennan Community College (MCC) and Texas State Technical College (TSTC) invite you to the annual College Access Network Week the week of June 11.  The program will offer a unique opportunity to discover and learn about the many educational programs and services offered by McLennan Community College (MCC) and Texas State Technical College (TSTC).   Over the span of four days you will participate in the college admissions, orientation and advising process, followed by active learning experiences of some of our instructional programs. The program will also take you to the various campuses in the Waco area.  Lunch will be provided.  The goal is for each participant to develop a recommended advising plan for 8th graders through college and career.  This program is for high school counselors, AVID teachers and coordinators, CTE teachers and advisors, and interested faculty.

Important Session Information:


June 26-27 activities will be on McLennan Community College Campus

June 29-30 activities will be on Texas State Technical College Campus

No activities are conducted on June 28
