Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers-CPR




The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. Participants will not receive their certification cards at the end of the class as the instructor is required to submit the certification paperwork to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest for review. After the review is complete, the instructor will receive the certification cards within 3-5 business days and they will be distributed accordingly.

Important Session Information:


You can check out a BLS book beforehand if you'd like.  There is a written and a skills test to pass before receiving your card.
