Reading Academy: Grade 5




The Fifth Grade Literacy Achievement Academy will enhance teachers’ knowledge and skills so they can effectively teach students to develop reading proficiency.


Eligible teachers from priority campuses will earn a $350 stipend for the successful completion of the academy. 

 

Important Session Information:


Participating teachers must provide instruction directly to students in the appropriate grade level and content area. Teachers who provide direct instruction include classroom teachers, special education teachers, and interventionists. 

Curriculum specialists, instructional coaches, or other staff positions who work with teachers but do not regularly provide direct instruction to students are not eligible to attend.
