Algebra in Action: Math Grades 7-10
Blended Session




Participants will be engaged in analyzing student work, listening to student discourse, and documenting patterns of student thinking. The day is built around rich problem solving tasks that will help mathematics teachers learn to identify and foster algebraic thinking in the students through the assessment of different kinds of data.

Do not miss this opportunity to be part of this innovative Blended Learning PD at Region 12 combining online and face-to-face learning. This 6 hour session includes a brief pre-session activity, 4.5 hours of face-to-face professional development from 9:00am - 2:30pm accompanied by 1.5 hour(s) of outside learning experience.

Since this blended learning session includes a brief pre-session activity, the registration deadline for the session ends one week prior to the face-to-face date. Please pay careful attention to the start and end times for the face-to-face portion of this session. Participants may stay at the conclusion of the face-to-face portion of the session to begin work on the outside learning experience.

Please bring your own device if possible.
