Seven Super Centers: Designing Effective Learning Spaces in the Early Childhood Classroom
Blended Session




Research supports the integration of seven types of centers in the early childhood classroom to broaden and deepen learning through child directed play.  This session will explore how to design engaging center environments, implement center management systems, and engage with students to facilitate learning across all Prekindergarten Guideline domains through play based learning in early childhood centers. Strategies for differentiating learning experiences for diverse learners will be shared. 

Important Session Information:


Do not miss the opportunity to be part of this innovative Blended Learning PD at Region 12.  This 8 hour session begins with 4.5 hours of face-to-face professional development in the summer from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm followed by a 1.5 hour outside learning experience and 2 hours of virtual implementation support via Zoom meeting once the school year begins (Sept. 25 and Oct. 23, 2018). 

Since this blended learning session includes a brief pre-session activity, the registration deadline for the session ends one week prior to the face-to-face date. Please pay careful attention to the start and end times for the face-to-face portion of this session. Participants may stay at the conclusion of the face-to-face portion of the session to begin work on the outside learning experience.

Please bring your own device if possible.
