Positive Behavior Supports for Students with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, K-12

Students who are non-verbal or low functioning verbal, often exhibit challenging behaviors. This session will focus on evidence-based practices for addressing and supporting these behaviors in multiple settings. Discussion will include assumptions about students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, functional communication, analyzing behaviors and a supportive learning environment.
