Cultivating a Culture of Literacy
2019 Literacy Conference, Grades K-12




Explore and acquire strategies to cultivate a culture of literacy with keynote speaker, Dr. Douglas Fisher. Dr. Fisher will be speaking on “Making Literacy Visible” and every attendee will receive a copy of Dr. Fisher’s book, Visible Learning for Literacy! In addition to Dr. Fisher’s keynote, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of other break-out sessions by a number of literacy experts who will address a variety of facets involving literacy. Dr. Fisher will also be leading two break-out sessions in the afternoon where he will be addressing "Rigorous Reading: Teacher Modeling" and "Scaffolded/Guided Reading."

2018-2019 Enhanced Curriculum Co-op members may attend for a reduced fee of $85.
