Board Training




Evaluating and Improving Student Outcomes (EISO): SB 1566 (85th Legislative Session) requires trustees to complete at least three hours of training every two years on evaluating student performance.

Important Session Information:


Trustees serving on a school board on September 1, 2017, must complete this training by September 1, 2018. Candidates for trustee are allowed to complete the required training up to one year prior to becoming elected. New trustees must complete this training within 120 days of being elected or appointed, and returning trustees must complete this training by the second anniversary of the completion of the trustee’s previous training. While it is not required that all members of the School Board complete this training together at the same time/location, School Board/Superintendent teams who attend this training all together can also earn their 3-hour team building credit. 

This session will be held at Killeen ISD, Administration Building (board room) 200 North W.S. Young Dr. Killeen, TX  76543.  

Note: A meal will be served 30 minutes prior to start time.
