Blended Session




Active Learning requires a lot from students. Students not only need to be prepared to gather information and gain insight, but they must also be able to effectively communicate that knowledge in oral and written formats. Join this session to investigate 5 important 21st Century Skills necessary for success in an Active Learning model of teaching. During this session you will be introduced to the Active Learning Institute for Student Engagement Network (ALISEN).

Do not miss this opportunity to be part of this innovative Blended Learning PD at Region 12 combining online and face-to-face learning. This 4 hour session includes a brief pre-session activity, 3 hours of face-to-face professional development accompanied by 1 hour of outside learning experience.

Since this blended learning session includes a brief pre-session activity, the registration deadline for the session ends one week prior to the face-to-face date. Please pay careful attention to the start and end times for the face-to-face portion of this session. 
Please bring your own device if possible.
