Preparing our Students for 21st Century Careers




We are teaching the millennial student. One of our teaching goals is to prepare these students for a global world and economy. Employability skills objectives are included in the TEKS for every CTE course.  What is your district doing to ensure students in CTE courses are leaving prepared and employable? Participants will investigate the employability skills objectives for several CTE courses and then create a priority objective list for their district. Lesson plan and labor market resources and other tools will be shared in the session.  Please bring your electronic device!
