Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2)
Administration and Scoring of ADOS-2

The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) improves an instrument already viewed as "the gold standard" for observational assessment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This is a 2-day workshop that teaches you how to use the ADOS-2 to assess and diagnose autism. An experienced workshop leader will describe the ADOS-2 and demonstrate administration and scoring, operationalizing diagnostic criteria for ASD. The workshop focuses primarily on Modules 1 through 4.

Important Session Information:

The two-day ADOS-2 Workshops are designed for clinicians with a prior background in autism and formal testing, including psychologists, educational diagnosticians, special education teachers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and social workers. During the two day training participants will be introduced to the  administration and scoring of Modules 1-4 typically used with students in the public school system. The workshop will use a lecture format and videos of the administrations of various modules to introduce the participants to basic principles of administering and scoring ADOS-2 modules 1 through 4 and to provide an essential step towards gaining competence in using the ADOS-2 as part of a comprehensive team-based evaluation.

It is recommended each team bring a copy of the ADOS-2 manual.

Approved-11 clock hours of CE credit by TSHA. No partiial credit will be awarded.
