Creating School-wide Systems of Support for Special Populations: Tools for Administrators
Providing Systems of Support for English Language Learners




Making school fit better for all students so that it can be an interesting and
meaningful experience is the purpose of differentiation. Whether students exhibit gifted behaviors, are learning English as a new language, have a learning disability, or are simply struggling learners, we want to make sure that we find ways to engage each one in the learning process. To do this, we must make the curriculum accessible so that each student feels invited to learn and knows s/he can succeed. This is a four session series that will focus on best-practices and systems necessary to providing a responsive educational experience to students with varying needs. 

Important Session Information:


This session focuses on the characteristics of ELL students and how to effectively address their needs specific to proficiency levels. Administrators will explore systems of intervention and gain a deep understanding of what to look for in the ELL classroom and how to support student growth across content areas.

No cost to Leadership Co-op members.
