Developing a Work-Based Learning Program for Special Education, Grades 9-12
Blended Session




Participants will learn the legal guidelines and research-based best practices for establishing a work-based learning program utilizing modified and alternate curriculum.  We will follow a continuum from classroom instruction to non-paid employment and community experiences, and then to paid employment.

Important Session Information:


Do not miss this opportunity to be part of this innovative Blended Learning PD at Region 12 combining online and face-to-face learning. This 7 hour session includes 6 hours of face to face professional development from 9:00am - 4:00pm accompanied by 1 hour of outside learning experience.

Since this blended learning session includes a brief pre-session activity, the registration deadline for the session ends one week prior to the face-to-face date. Please pay careful attention to the start and end times for the face-to-face portion of this session. 

Please bring your own device if possible.
