Engaging Learners: The Role of Literacy in Successful Student Centered Learning/Reading
Blended Session

The training focuses on the role of literacy in successful student centered environments.  The topic for this session is READING.  This represents a paradigm shift in how to plan instruction to include literacy so that students can be successful working at the appropriate level of rigor. Best practice strategies and routines will be reviewed during this session. Teachers will be challenged to reflect on their own instruction. During this session you will be introduced to the Active Learning Institute for Student Engagement Network (ALISEN)
