Blended Session




This workshop provides ideas on how to improve student engagement in content areas, build skill sets for processing and producing, and create a climate of student ownership during the first five days of the school year. Teachers will be engaged in exploring the technology, tasks and mindset needed for creating a project-based, student-centered class climate in middle and high school science classrooms.

Important Session Information:


Do not miss the opportunity to be part of this innovative Blended Learning PD at Region 12 combining online and face-to-face learning. This 4 hour session includes a brief pre-session activity, 3 hours of face-to-face professional development followed by a 1 hour outside learning experience.

Since this blended learning session includes a brief pre-session activity, the registration deadline for the session ends one week prior to the face-to-face date.  Please pay careful attention to the start and end times for the face-to-face portion of this session. Please bring your own device if possible. Participants may stay after the conclusion of the face-to-face portion of the session to begin work on the outside learning experience/assignment.
