Balancing Literacy & Planning From the IFD Cohort; Grades K-5; 6-12
Blended Session




What does a classroom look like that supports a balanced literacy framework? How do you use the IFD to plan for all components of that framework? This planning cohort will apply the knowledge gained from the Balancing Literacy with the Instructional Focus Document of TEKS Resource System, and provide you with four afternoons throughout the year to plan for upcoming units. The planning cohort meetings will be collaborative sessions that will support your ELAR planning. 

Participants will receive an hour of prep time for each planning meeting, for a total of 3 CPE hours per meeting.

Do not miss this opportunity to be part of this innovative 12 hour Blended Learning PD at Region 12 combining online and face-to-face learning. This session includes 4 meetings. Each meeting includes 1 hour of prep time and 2 hours of face-to-face learning per meeting for a total of 3 credit hours per meeting.

Since this blended learning session includes a brief pre-session activity, the registration deadline for the session ends one week prior to the face-to-face date. Please pay careful attention to the start and end times for the face-to-face portion of this session.
