ELPS Instructional Tool Training




This training is designed to help educators understand the ELPS Instructional Tool, a resource provided by TEA. This session will give teachers insight into the essential instructional components needed to support ELs identified at the beginning and intermediate levels of English proficiency, as well as aid teachers in effectively designing and delivering instruction to better meet the needs of these students. The training will provide an overview of the components of the guide, including the language development process, the Proficiency Level Descriptors, and an overview of the degree of linguistic accommodations for each language domain.

This full day session will help you use the ESL Instructional Tool to plan, scaffold, support, and assess your English Learners.
