Special Education Evaluation Webinar Series
Low Incidence Evaluations

This is a series of live two-hour webinars presented throughout the school year.  Participants will be sent additional information prior to the session describing how to access the webinar.

Important Session Information:

The assessment of children and adolescents with low incidence disorders presents unique challenges. Many of the assessment skills and tools that are used with more common presenting problems simply don’t apply when working with students who have multiple disabilities and significant cognitive impairments. This webinar reviews the best practices for assessing individuals with low emphasis disorders, with special attention to the measurement of adaptive behavior skills and non-traditional assessment methods. Participants will gain specific knowledge regarding the collection of valid and relevant data to inform decision-making teams, making recommendations, and linking assessment data to intervention.

Registered participants will receive handouts and a link specific to the upcoming webinar with instructions to connect from the home or work computer a few days before the event.

Registration closes at 12:00 A.M. November 11th so participants must register by midnight.
