This is a series of live two-hour webinars presented throughout the school year. Participants will be sent additional information prior to the session describing how to access the webinar. The intended audience is special education evaluation staff.
During this webinar participants will learn about the rationale and procedures for engaging in play based assessment of children ages 3-5 years. The information provided by the presenter will focus on the composition of the play based assessment team and roles of the team members. Practical information and guidelines will be discussed regarding ways to develop this assessment model in your program, district or special education cooperative.
Registered participants will receive handouts and a link specific to the upcoming webinar with instructions to connect from the home or work computer a few days before the event. Registration closes at 12:00 A.M. December 9th so participants must register by midnight on December 8th in order to ensure receipt of the link and handouts.
