This is a series of live two-hour webinars presented throughout the school year. Participants will be sent additional information prior to the session describing how to access the webinar. The intended audience is special education evaluation staff.
During this webinar participants will learn about the factors influencing second language learning and how this may be misinterpreted as learning deficits. The information provided by the presenter will focus on the principles and strategies that all evaluation personnel may use for culturally fair and appropriate assessment practices in the assessment of English Language Learners for the presence of disabilities.
