Classroom Organization: The Power of Structure for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders
Blended Session




This session will provide an overview of how organizational structure can clarify expectations and reduce anxiety in many students with Autism Spectrum Disorders.  Participants will learn the neurobiological basis of Autism Spectrum Disorders and the connection to structured learning environments.  Other items discussed will include organizing physical space and dimensions of time and learning activities to positively impact student success.

Do not miss this opportunity to be part of this innovative Blended Learning PD at Region 12 combining online and face-to-face learning. This 6 hour session includes a brief pre-session activity, 4.5 hours of face-to-face professional development from 9:00am - 2:30pm accompanied by 1.5 hour(s) of outside learning experience.

Since this blended learning session includes a brief pre-session activity, the registration deadline for the session ends one week prior to the face-to-face date. Please pay careful attention to the start and end times for the face-to-face portion of this session. 

Please bring your own device if possible.
