This multi-day session is for dyslexia teachers, evaluation personnel, and others involved in the assessment and identification of dyslexia.
When a student is referred for a dyslexia evaluation, qualitative and quantitative information gathered by the evaluator is used to drive decision making within the legal framework of either the Section 504 or IDEA process.
In this 2-day portion of dyslexia identification training we will cover the dyslexia identification process, administration guidelines and requirements for the GORT-5, WRMT-lll, CTOPP-2, and TWS-5.
Since the process of being trained to assess for dyslexia includes more than just knowing how to give the tests, participants must also register and attend TDIA Modules 1-2, and 4-5. Please contact Lisa Plemons or Janeia Vorderkunz with any questions you may have.
