Blended Session




This session is an introductory training in the basic principles, values, and processes of Restorative practices.  This session will support teachers in developing a framework for building community and for responding to challenging behavior through authentic dialogue.  Teachers will develop an understanding of the circle process and how to facilitate community circles along with affective statements.  We will learn the step-by-step instructions for circles that build community, teach restorative concepts and skills, and harness the power of community circles to establish calmer more effective classrooms.

Do not miss this opportunity to be part of this innovative Blended Learning PD at Region 12 combining online and face-to-face learning. This 7 hour session includes a brief pre-session activity, 6 hours of face-to-face professional development from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm accompanied by an outside learning experience.Since this blended learning session includes a brief pre-session activity, the registration deadline for the session ends one week prior to the face-to-face date. Please pay careful attention to the start and end times for the face-to-face portion of this session. Please bring your own device if possible.
