Important Session Information:


Dr. Maria E. Franquiz serves as the  Deputy Chief Academic Officer for Faculty Development and Innovation at the University of Utah. Previously, she has served as a Dean and Professor in the College of Education at the University of Utah and as the Assistant Dean of Faculty Development in the College of Education at the University of Texas at Austin (UT-Austin).

Dr. Franquiz is the author of numerous publications, peer-reviewed presentations, and is currently the Co-Chair on the  Editorial Board of the Bilingual Research Journal. 

Recent publications for Dr. Franquiz include:
