Blended Session




Have you been looking for a place where you can access simple and easy integration strategies for the Discovery Education Streaming Experience? Come and join us for this session for K-12 where we will explore the DE “Spotlight on Strategies” series that provides 200 digital integration challenges with all the resources needed to help you integrate DE media into your curriculum.

Participants will receive 6 hours of credit for this session. A portion of the session will be held virtually face-to-face via Zoom, and a portion will occur independently online. Attendance at the Zoom meeting, as well as active engagement throughout the online course, is required to be awarded the full six hours of CPE credit.

Do not miss the opportunity to be part of this innovative Blended Learning PD at Region 12. This 6 hour session includes a brief pre-session activity, 4.5 hours of face-to-face professional development from 9:00am - 2:30pm followed by a 1.5 hour outside learning experience.

Since this blended learning session includes a brief pre-session activity, the registration deadline for the session ends one week prior to the face-to-face date. Please pay careful attention to the start and end times for the face-to-face portion of this session. Participants may stay after the conclusion of the face-to-face portion of the session to begin work on the outside learning experience/assignment.

Please bring a device if possible.
