Blended Session




Students love to talk.  Students need to talk.  Students need to be talking in the science classroom.  However, those conversations not only need focus, they also need structure and an audience.  Join us on a walking the “talk” experience.  Walk with us on campus, along the Brazos River and in downtown Waco as we explore the value of academic conversion and how to get the most out of students’ passion for talking.

Important Session Information:


Do not miss the opportunity to be part of this innovative Blended Learning PD at Region 12 combining online and face-to-face learning. This 6 hour session includes a brief pre-session activity, 4.5 hours of face-to-face professional development from 9:00am - 2:30pm followed by a 1.5 hour outside learning experience.

Since this blended learning session includes a brief pre-session activity, the registration deadline for the session ends one week prior to the face-to-face date.  Please pay careful attention to the start and end times for the face-to-face portion of this session. Please bring your own device if possible. Participants may stay after the conclusion of the face-to-face portion of the session to begin work on the outside learning experience/assignment.

Enhanced Curriculum Co-op attends at no additional charge.  Please bring an electronic device to access resources for the session.
