- Are our students learning?
- If not, how do we teach the content so that they do?
These are very simple questions that are at the heart of creating data driven instruction.
This training will focus on four key elements of data driven instruction.
- Assessment: Creating rigorous interim assessments that provide meaningful data.
- Analysis: Examining the results of assessments to identify the cause of both strengths and shortcomings of instruction.
- Action: Planning and adjusting instruction to effectively teach what students most need to learn.
- Culture: Creating a campus environment in which data-driven instruction can survive and thrive.
Participants will spend valuable time analyzing their current campus practices, assessments, and data by using the four elements of data driven instruction.
