Mentor Training for Administrators

Quality support systems enhance the effectiveness of beginning teachers and may improve teacher retention. The Mentor Training for Administrators is designed for leaders who are looking to implement a district or campus mentor program to support new teachers. Administrators will receive a framework and the activities necessary to launch the Mentor Program for the upcoming school year. 

Once campus or district leaders have attended the initial training, mentors from selected campuses will be chosen. These teacher leaders will receive ongoing training throughout the year to support the work with their mentee. Refer to session title Teacher Mentor Training for additional information. 


Important Session Information:

This session fee includes administrator training, all materials, and up to 3 teachers for the Teacher Mentor Training. Participants will leave this workshop with a system and all tools needed to support the mentoring work throughout the school year. Additional teachers can be added. To include more than 3 teachers, please contact Russ Meggs for pricing. rmeggs@esc12.net

Please have teachers who will participate in the Teacher Mentor Training selected prior to this session. A list will be compiled so that teachers can be registered.
