Math and the Real World 3-5- Make and Take




In this blended session, participants will experience hands-on activities that support grades 3-5 math TEKS with the integration of real world scenarios. We will also discuss the importance of integrating content for student buy-in. Participants will leave the session with the materials required to implement these activities in their classrooms.

Do not miss this opportunity to be part of this innovative Blended Learning PD at Region 12 combining online and face-to-face learning. This 6 hour session includes a brief pre-session activity, 4.5 hours of face-to-face professional development from 9:00am - 2:30pm followed by a 1.5 hour outside learning experience.

Since this blended learning session includes a brief pre-session activity, the registration deadline for the session ends one week prior to the face-to-face date.  
Pay careful attention to the start and end times for the face-to-face portion of this session.
