What is on the Line with Linearity and the Quandary about Quadratics?
Blended Session




Rather than looking at linearity and quadratics in isolation, during this session participants will look "vertically" and make connections between the two topics. We will look at the conceptual progression from Algebra 1 through Algebra 2. Bring your math team for a interactive, fun-filled day of learning!

Do not miss this opportunity to be part of this innovative Blended Learning PD at Region 12 combining online and face-to-face learning. This 6 hour session includes a brief pre-session activity, 4.5 hours of face-to-face professional development from 9:00am - 2:30pm followed by a 1.5 hour outside learning experience.
 

Please note:

  • Since this blended learning session includes a brief pre-session activity, the registration deadline for the session ends one week prior to the face-to-face date.  
  • Pay careful attention to the start and end times for the face-to-face portion of this session. 
  • Participants may stay after the conclusion of the face-to-face portion of the session to begin work on the outside learning experience/assignment.
