TEKS Resource System 101: Foundation Training for Teachers

The TEKS Resource System is a customizable, online curriculum management system aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). The TEKS Resource System's high quality curriculum components and unit assessment items assist schools in meeting the high standard of rigor and relevance required in the TEKS and STAAR assessments. The TEKS Resource System 101: Foundation Training for Educators is specifically designed for NEW TEKS Resource System users. Through investigation and discussion, participants will develop a solid understanding of each component and how to effectively navigate the online system. Using the system to meet the needs of all students will be addressed.

This session is for TEKS Resource System Districts only.

Do not miss this opportunity to be part of this innovative Blended Learning PD at Region 12 combining online and face-to-face learning. This 6 hour session includes a brief pre-session activity, 4.5 hours of face-to-face professional development from 9:00am - 2:30pm accompanied by 1.5 hour(s) of outside learning experience.

Since this blended learning session includes a brief pre-session activity, the registration deadline for the session ends one week prior to the face-to-face date. Please pay careful attention to the start and end times for the face-to-face portion of this session. Participants may stay at the conclusion of the face-to-face portion of the session to begin work on the outside learning experience.
