Communication a la Mode: Strategies for Incorporating the Three Modes into LOTE Instruction.

This workshop will focus on creating lesson sequences that fully incorporate the three modes of communication into LOTE instruction.  Participants will first work through a sample lesson sequence, beginning with interpretive activities centered on an authentic text.  They will experience activities designed to practice all three modes.  In the afternoon, teachers will work in small groups to create their own chain of activities practicing these skills within a unit framework of their choice.  Please bring your devices and teaching materials to help you develop the activities.
