Social and Emotional Learning of Gifted and Talented Students




This workshop will assist teachers as they attend to the social and emotional learning needs of gifted students. Teachers will learn to provide both physical and emotional security around student experiences, and will develop a learning environment that acknowledges the value of students' thoughts, beliefs, cultures, interests, and life situations regardless of individual intellectual ability.

Important Session Information:


This session will count as the required 6 hour G/T update.  Participants may receive credit for a six- hour update by attending this session.
