Discovery Education will be joining us for a Day of Discovery! This unique day of FREE professional development has been designed specifically for Texas educators to highlight creative ways to engage students and invigorate your curriculum with Discovery Education Streaming using the latest 21st century tools and Discovery Education Streaming resources.

Please join us for this day as we focus on two of the multiple Hot Topics in education supported in the Discovery Education Streaming program.

• Higher Order Thinking Skills - DE Streaming provides multiple resources that support the higher order thinking skills (H.O.T.S.) of applying, analyzing, evaluating/designing, and synthesizing. Rich multi-modal content, instructional strategies, and digital tools helps teachers teach and students learn these skills.

• Social and Emotional Learning - SEL is the process through which students develop an understanding of their emotions and social skills, as well as how these influence their self-image and interpersonal relationships. DE Streaming supports SEL through its dynamic platform, relevant content, robust content collections, and instructional strategies.
