This session series is intended for Special Education Directors interested in a continuing growth model of special education administration. We will review a variety of special education administrative tasks throughout this school year.
Important Session Information:
This session will focus on leadership and administrative responsibilities with regard to the role of Director of Special Education. Changes in federal and state guidelines regarding the provision of special education services have required special education administrators to adapt their practices and procedures in order to strike the right balance between compliance and student achievement. Primary areas of knowledge needed to successfully manage a special education department/program are explored in this session.
