Come learn how to use Dinah Zike's three-dimensional graphic organizers called Foldables, to cement learning in students by providing a creative, hands-on, kinesthetic way to record and process concepts and vocabulary.  Foldables are a wonderful way to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of all learning styles.  

In this session participants will - 

  • Learn the 5 basic folds along with many others
  • Learn how to use envelopes as Foldables
  • Discuss using Foldables to differentiate instruction
  • Discover the value of Notebooking with Foldables
  • Leave with a notebook full of completed Foldable ideas

Do not miss this opportunity to be part of this innovative Blended Learning PD at Region 12 combining online and face-to-face learning. This 7 hour session includes 6 hours of face to face professional development from 9:00am - 4:00pm accompanied by 1 hour of outside learning experience.

Since this blended learning session includes a brief pre-session activity, the registration deadline for the session ends one week prior to the face-to-face date. Please pay careful attention to the start and end times for the face-to-face portion of this session.
