Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)
TBRI: Connecting with Youth




Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) is a model for intervention that is utilized for a childhood behavioral concerns. Developed out of TCU by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross, this set of holistic and research-based interventions can help adults connect to children and help them develop relationships that may not have been present due to behavioral challenges. TBRI is taught by a certified TBRI specialist for school personnel to help them be more successful in supporting their students.

We've heard it a thousand times: "Relationships are the key."  Join us as we explore a systematic approach to working with youth who experience trauma, and learn how we can employ these skills to help us in the classroom and on our campuses. TBRI Instructor, Nancy Preston will deliver a powerful and high impact presentation that will leave you with tools to help develop better relationships with youth who experience trauma.
