Autism Piece: Classroom Organization and Visual Supports




Special education and general education teachers are welcome!  Participants will explore an overview of how organizational structure can clarify expectations and reduce anxiety in students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. This course will help participants learn about the neuro biological basis of Autism Spectrum Disorders and its connection to structured learning environments. In addition, participants will learn how to organize physical space, dimensions of time and learning activities to positively impact student success.
