Autism Piece: Top 5 Evidence Based Practices




Special education and general education teachers welcome!  Participants will explore and create materials for the top 5 evidence based practices as identified by the National Professional Development Center on Autism for working with students with Autism.  These 5 core strategies have been found to be most effective in the classroom.  Strategies include reinforcement, differential reinforcement, prompting, task analysis, and modeling.

This program has been approved for 5 clock hours of continuing education credit for Speech Pathologists and Speech Pathology Assistants by the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association (TSHA). TSHA approval does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products, or clinical procedures.
