Roles, Responsibilities and Strategies for Paraprofessionals, K-12




Participants will examine roles and responsibilities for paraprofessionals. Topics include disability awareness, understanding of the special education process and guidelines, and duties when working with teachers and students in classrooms with inclusive settings, as well as self-contained special education settings. The session will also include discussion guidelines, student questioning, and strategies to ensure students are progressing in the general curriculum.
