STEM to Engage all Students: What is STEM to Me?
Blended Session
Share
The sessions that comprise this Blended Learning series are meant to foster the ”grit” mindset and build effective skill-sets in teachers using STEM as a mechanism of engagement. All sessions are independent, but can be attended following a recommended schedule, that includes both online and face-2-face sessions, for maximum impact. Participants will cultivate a ‘tool chest’ of actions and activities that transfer directly into the planning process. What is STEM to Me? Focuses on the “why” for including STEM opportunities in the structured planning for a science content class. Participants will explore the benefits of STEM style activities, brainstorm ways to overcome any barriers, and develop a continuing professional development plan for success.
