Decoding and the Emerging Reader
Grades K-2




Grade K-2 teachers, join us for our engaging and efficient Decoding and the Emerging Reader workshop. Participants will walk away with immediate strategies and learn the best practices in teaching the sub-skills that build strong decoders.

At this fact filled, activity driven, and hands-on training you will:

  • learn how to teach phoneme play, letter-sound relationships, encoding, decoding, onset rhyme, rhyming, and sight word fluency.
  • learn the most efficient methods for helping young students read developmentally appropriate unfamiliar and multi-syllable words.
