Growing awareness of the prevalence and impact of childhood trauma has prompted educators to consider their roles in addressing this public health issue. Come explore the research and learn how to better support the children and youth affected by trauma on your campus. Learn how to foster safe and supportive learning environments where all students have the opportunity to thrive.

Important Session Information:


Do not miss this opportunity to be part of this innovative Blended Learning PD at Region 12 combining online and face-to-face learning. This 6 hour session includes a brief pre-session activity, 4.5 hours of face-to-face professional development from 9:00am - 2:30pm followed by a 1.5 hour outside learning experience.

Please note:

  • Since this blended learning session includes a brief pre-session activity, the registration deadline for the session ends one week prior to the face-to-face date.  
  • Pay careful attention to the start and end times for the face-to-face portion of this session. 
  • Please bring your own device if possible.
  • Participants may stay after the conclusion of the face-to-face portion of the session to begin work on the outside learning experience/assignment.
