This session will provide participants with the basics of Cross-Battery Assessment procedures that support the problem solving approach to identification of a Specific Learning Disability. 

Participants will learn strategies on how to utilize referral information and create an assessment plan to address suspected cognitive deficits that may be impacting a student's performance.  Participants will walk away from this session ready to apply the basic principles of the current methodology of Dual Discrepancy/ Consistency Model and the newly revised software (X-BASS).
