Powerful Routines for Fostering Engagement & Number Sense with K-2 Learners




In the early grades, students are naturally eager to work with numbers and want to talk about their discoveries.  Get more bang for your buck by capitalizing on this and improving your students' number sense through simple, engaging routines. We will explore how to use visual images, Rekenreks, & number charts to engage students in reasoning about numbers and their relationships.  Learn ways to facilitate math talks as students engage in the routines.
