PLC for New Special Education Teachers




The purpose of this PLC is to create a cohort of professional support for first year special education teachers, guiding them through the fundamentals of special education such as accommodations and modifications, IEP writing, roles and responsibilities, co-teaching, state assessments, grading, and much more.  Participants will not only gain special education knowledge, but also form relationships and connections with fellow special education teachers across the region.

The first meeting will be in person at ESC Region 12 on August 5, 2019, followed by six virtual meetings via Zoom immediately after school on -
