A lifesaving measure




Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action. Stop the Bleed is intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. Whether the person bleeding is cut accidentally or shot by an intruder, it's important to know how to control bleeding until help arrives.

Important Session Information:


Everyday people learning how to Stop the Bleed is important. We never know when we might find ourselves in a situation where someone is critically injured, whether that be at a car accident scene or during an active shooter situation.
